Saphira’s signature Multi-Level LED Photodynamic Therapy utilises several treatment modalities including the latest generation of technology based on using a narrow band of light delivered through Light Emitting Diodes (LED’s). The light technology works because cells within the body contain receptors that absorb pure red light naturally. When the body is exposed to light, these receptors absorb the light waves and kick-start a cellular response. Saphira Pure Red Light Precision
Pure red light Red Light acts to energize, rejuvenate and repair damaged skin, uneven skin tone, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our new generation, more intense LED device sits close to the skin’s surface and delivers a precise wavelength of visible red light. The red light penetrates deep into the skin to stimulate fibroblast activity and to naturally boost the production of collagen. (the protein responsible for plump, healthy skin).
Restoration stage 1
Includes pre-treatment of the skin with a product infusion device. Uniformly spaced fine needles create microscopic channels allowing the absorption of vitamins and minerals into the epidermis. Saphira custom vitamin cocktails contain ingredients like hyaluronic acid, pigmentation inhibitors, antioxidants, peptides and vitamin A, C & E. Restoration stage 2

Blue light Multi-Level Photodynamic Therapy Acne Treatment
LED blue light masque is an essential tool in a Saphira acne management programme. LED Blue Light delivers pure blue light optimised to deliver the correct wavelength and dose directly onto the skin’s surface for maximum activation of the target cells. The LED blue light with the precise wave length creates intracellular singlet oxygen – inducing complete bacterial death and stimulating specific immunoregulatory pathways.
LED Blue Light is used in sequence with the LED Red Light in reducing the bacterial in the sebaceous gland. This action returns the gland’s abnormally high level of sebum to normal, reducing the production of pro inflammatory cytokines. There is a reduction in the inflammatory lesions and a stimulating of cellular mechanisms that result in tissue repair.
